Singer Sewing Machine 502 Manual.
I searched the house, but could not find my Singer Sewing Machine Manual so that I could do some sewing - take up my son's new jeans! No luck however, and after extensive searches online, could not find it. So I decided to take my 3 sewing boxes, with various bits in them and put them into one, there it was at the bottom of the large box! So in the interest of other who are probably searching for the same thing - here it is:

Thank you for posting this. I do not have this machine, but apparently I have some feet that will fit it. Never have too many machine manuals on line.
ReplyDeleteAgain, Thanks
Thanks for the comments, and I hope you find the Singer manual of use, you never know, you might find one online for sale and you can use those feet!
DeleteThank you ever so much for posting this.
ReplyDeleteMy wife has had one of these for years, and she has decided she wants to start using it.
I used to watch Mum sewing when I was little, time for me to figure out how to do it, so I know if the machine is broken!
Thanks again
Brad
Thanks for the comments Brad, hope you found the Singer manual useful.

ReplyDeleteBrilliant! Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I bought my 502 years ago without a manual and with very limited experience with sewing machines no general! At that time the manual wasn't available anywhere online, or at least I had no luck despite much searching. Thank you so much for your time and effort in posting this! Much appreciated! :) Cass from Australia
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure Cass. I hope you got the information you were after. Dont forget to bookmark the page so that you can find it again.
DeleteThank you so much for this! I've been searching all over. Now if only I can find it's service manual I'll be set :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for this. I'm cleaning up a charity shop find of one of these for a sewing newbie friend. The manual will be most useful to go with it.
ReplyDeleteThank you. This was my incredibly helpful. I still can’t get my machine to stitch properly but will keep trying
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for taking the time to download this manual, it was so helpful
ReplyDeleteGlad to be of help, hope your sewing project turned out great! Barb
ReplyDeleteHi - really appreciate your doing this for all of us!! I have inherited this machine from my mother in law and I don't have the manual. However - have you notiiced that pages 26, 27 (one page) are missing. If you get a chance, could you please re-scan this page onto the manual. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteI have a 507 and hope this is similar enough to get me going.
ReplyDeleteHi Jim. I inherited a Singer 502 machine from my mother. Unfortunately, she lost the manual and the power connector with the speed control pedal! Strangely, Singer still sells the manual for this model but at a price! They are not charitable enough to provide a free pdf version.
ReplyDeleteAnyway there a couple of jobs that I would love to do with a sewing machine - I now have the time with all this palaver with the Covid-19! I think I will make a speed controller - I am a Space Scientist, so this would be an interesting project of its own. Forget the rheostats and carbon resistors it will be a modern design using Triacs. My immediate problem is not knowing what the 3 terminal are..! if I don't find this on the web I will trace it myself.
If you are interested I will send you a new message with the final result. Thanks very much for your help. Very gallant of you. Best regards Dr Basil Polychronopulos.
Thank you x
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteThank you very much
Wow…so great. We just cleaned out my childhood home and I decided to keep moms sewing machine. Dropping it off this week for a tune up and can’t wait to learn this “new” machine.
